I was up in Minneapolis last January to play a Smoking Popes show. My friend Ryan and I arrived a day early to catch a Timberwolves game, and afterward, we found a couple of hours to stop by LITT Pinball Bar and flip a few games.
Right off the bat, one awesome thing about this spot is their hours. They’re open from 11 AM to 2 AM every day. As a touring musician, I love when pinball locations have extended hours like that. I usually only have a small, unpredictable window to play each day, so it’s a huge bonus when I can count on a place being open late. I was also immediately impressed with the vibe and their machine lineup.
Before diving into the details, it’s worth noting that LITT hosts a ton of monthly leagues, tournaments, and women’s tournaments. Their Facebook page always has up-to-date info on upcoming events.

Atmosphere
When I walked into LITT Pinball Bar, I immediately felt at home. It reminded me of the venues we play while on tour — though cleaner and a lot nicer than your average punk rock joint. The lighting is dark but not gloomy, and the walls are covered with cool graphics. Above several machines, they’ve installed screens that display the playfield view, so you can watch others play even from across the room. Bonus points for clean and well-kept bathrooms. All in all, it’s a nearly perfect place to play pinball.
Food & Beverage
LITT has a full-service bar and a solid food menu. You can grab appetizers, hot dogs, burgers, or sandwiches. Unfortunately, we had already eaten before we got there, so I didn’t try anything myself. But I saw others at the bar eating and everything looked delicious.
The Pinball
The LITT pinball lineup is a home run.
It’s one of the most impressive selections I’ve seen anywhere. Nearly all of their modern machines are LEs or CEs, and every game we played was clean and well maintained. Even their classics were in great shape and played beautifully. They cover every era of pinball, from vintage EMs to the latest titles from Stern, Jersey Jack, Spooky, and Barrels of Fun.
They currently have 47 machines on site and seem to get new releases quickly. Check their page on Pinball Map for the latest lineup.
